"Fancy" Beef & Mushroom Pasta

I use the word "Fancy" for this dish because it has rich, elegant flavors but is really very simple to make.

What You Will Need: Any cut of beef that you like, mushrooms (Ive got baby bella's), onions, garlic, pea's (frozen if you don't have fresh), pasta, worcestershire sauce, beef broth, flour, butter & a good quality dry red wine.

Get a pot of water boiling & cook your pasta to al dente, drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat some olive oil & butter. Season with salt & pepper. Place in the strips of beef in a single layer. If you have to much beef, do it in batches.

Sear the meat, making sure you get a good crust on each side.

Once all your meat has been seared, add in the sliced onions.

Next goes the garlic.

Sprinkle in a little flour and stir, making sure all the raw flour has been cooked.

Deglaze with your wine (about 2 T.)....then pour yourself a glass.

Give a couple splashes of worcestershire sauce.

Then add in a good amount of the beef broth.

Add in all the sliced mushrooms.

Get it all hot and bubbly.

Right at the very end, add in a big handful of the peas! Mix and your ready to serve!

Spoon a generous amount over your noodles, garnish with parmesan cheese & parsley or scallions.

Enjoy & Always Cook with Love!
