How To: Roast Spaghetti Squash

Spaghetti Squash is a wonderful, delicious vegetable that is gaining popularity every day.

If you have never cooking this squash before, fear not! It could not be easier and requires very few kitchen items.

What you will need: 1 Spaghetti Squash, Baking Pan, Large knife, Cutting board, Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, Spoon & a Fork.

Preheat the oven to 400 degree's.

Cut the squash length wise

Use a spoon and scoop out the seeds

Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper

Drizzle some Olive Oil on the baking pan and place squash facing down

Roast in the oven for 45-50 minutes, depending on the size. To make sure that its cooked through, poke the skin with a fork. If it goes in with ease...its done!

Sit and let cool. Then using the fork, start at the top and pull the squash down

Let the awesome strands of squash fall right onto your dinner plate or place into a tupperware dish to use at a different time.

When your ready to serve, place a small pat of butter in a sauté pan and throw your squash in. Heat through and put it along side your entree.

I used it as a substitute for pasta with my ground turkey meatballs!

I hope you enjoy this Spaghetti Squash as much as I do & remember to always cook with Love!
